What Is Smile Design?

Smile design (DSD — Digital Smile Design) is a comprehensive aesthetic dental treatment that replans the colour, shape, size and gum line of teeth in harmony with the facial anatomy. Digital Smile Design (DSD) Process

1. Photo & Video Analysis: Facial, lip and tooth ratios are digitally measured.
2. DSD Simulation: The new smile is simulated on software; the patient approves the design.
3. Mock-Up: A trial is carried out in the mouth using temporary material.
4. Treatment: The approved design is applied with veneers, crowns or composite bonding.
5. Final: Completed with occlusion check and polishing.

How Many Teeth Are Treated?
