Porcelain Veneer
Achieve white and perfectly aligned teeth with porcelain laminate veneers. Call Emrivadent Antalya for affordable and long-lasting cosmetic dental treatment.
A porcelain laminate veneer is a 0.3–0.5 mm thin porcelain shell bonded to the front surface of a tooth. It is one of the most preferred applications in cosmetic dentistry because it requires minimal tooth reduction and offers a natural appearance with its light translucency. Veneer treatment at Emrivadent is completed in an average of 2 sessions.
What Is a Porcelain Veneer?
A veneer (laminate) is a porcelain or composite covering as thin as a fingernail, applied only to the visible front surface of the tooth. Unlike traditional crowns, very little tooth structure is removed, making the procedure largely reversible.
Veneer Procedure Steps
- Consultation and Digital Smile Design: Target colour and shape are determined.
- Tooth preparation: 0.3–0.5 mm of enamel is removed.
- Digital impression: A 3D scan is taken with an intraoral scanner.
- Temporary veneer: A temporary covering is fitted during the laboratory process.
- Permanent bonding: The veneer is bonded to the tooth with special cement.
Who Is a Candidate for Veneers?
- Yellowed or stained teeth
- Mildly crowded or spaced teeth
- Chipped or worn tooth edges
- Misshapen teeth
