What Is Professional Teeth Whitening?

In-Clinic Whitening — Step by Step

1. Gum barrier and lip retractor are applied.
2. 25–40% hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to teeth.
3. LED / plasma light source is activated for 3–4 cycles (15 minutes each).
4. Gel is removed; fluoride gel is applied to reduce sensitivity.
5. Result shade measurement is taken (Vita Shade Guide).

Longevity of Results

• Clinic Zoom + home kit: 12–24 months
• Clinic only: 6–12 months
• Factors affecting colour: Tea, coffee, red wine, smoking

Who Is Not Suitable?

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women
• Individuals under 18
• Those with active sensitivity or cavities (treatment required first)
• Teeth with veneers or crowns (whitening does not affect these surfaces)
