All-on-4 Dental Implant: Permanent Solution for Full Edentulism

What Is All-on-4?

All-on-4 is an implant treatment system in which only 4 implants are placed in a fully edentulous jaw and a fixed, non-removable bridge prosthesis is screwed onto them. At Emriva Dent Dental Clinic in Antalya, this is performed using Nobel Biocare and Straumann systems.

Treatment Process — Step by Step

1. 3D CBCT Scan: Jaw anatomy and nerve canals are mapped.
2. Surgical Planning: Virtual implantation is carried out with Nobel Clinician or similar software.
3. Surgery Day: Remaining teeth are extracted, 4 implants are placed, and a temporary prosthesis is screwed on the same day.
4. Healing: Implants osseointegrate with bone over 3–6 months.
5. Final Prosthesis: Full zirconia bridge (12–14 teeth) is screwed in.

Who Is a Candidate?

• Individuals who have lost all teeth
• Those with many loose or decayed teeth
• Patients unsatisfied with removable full dentures
• Patients with sufficient bone height (minimum 10 mm)

Post All-on-4 Diet

• Weeks 0–2: Liquid diet (soup, smoothies)
• Weeks 2–6: Soft foods (yogurt, pasta, cooked vegetables)
• Week 6+: Gradual return to normal diet
